  • Yes! Terry Trueblood Event Space offers ample parking for all guests. Arrive with ease and step straight into the garden.

  • Our ceremony will take place under the open sky. Iowa summers are beautiful and warm, so we kindly encourage you to come prepared; sunglasses, a wide-brimmed hat, and a personal fan will be your best companions.

  • We adore our little ones and the joy they carry into every room. However, due to the intimate capacity of our venue, we ask that this evening be reserved for adults only. We hope you'll take this as a rare and well-deserved night for yourself.

  • Not at all. While we warmly celebrate the wearing of traditional Congolese dress (known as Liputa ) it is never required. Our guests are invited to wear rich earth tones, warm neutrals, or simply whatever makes them feel most beautifully themselves. Come as you are, dressed with intention.

  • We are deeply moved that you want to hold this moment with us. We ask that during the ceremony, you set your devices aside and simply be present; let your eyes be the lens and your heart be the memory. Our photographer will capture everything beautifully, and those images will be shared with you in time.

  • We kindly ask that you RSVP by June 14th, 2026, so that we may ensure every detail of your experience is prepared with care.

  • Our table will be a celebration in itself. We will be serving a rich and generous spread of traditional Central African cuisine, with a plentiful variety of options to explore and enjoy. More details to come, but come hungry and come curious.

  • Your presence is already the greatest gift. For those who wish to honor us further, we gratefully welcome cash gifts or contributions through our Amazon registry; QR codes will be available at each table for easy and seamless gifting. Please leave physical gifts at home so you can travel light and celebrate freely.
